Meet the team:
Dustin Buckthal: Co-founder, scientist, entrepreneur, business brain, climber. Dustin holds a masters in chemistry, has more than 15 years’ experience in gym ownership, and 11 years’ experience in climbing wall construction.
John Stack: Co-founder, ex-pro climber, climbing wall design and construction expert. John is an innovator and workhorse, constantly improving our manufacturing equipment and processes.
Jared Roth: Production and Quality manager, Cheif Designer. Jared is an accomplished climber with many classic FA’s under his belt and was also one of the first Americans to climb 5.14c. He spent a hand full of his teenage years working at the world-renowned Wasatch Front Rock Gym and also spent time competing internationally on the U.S. Youth Climbing Team. He now uses this expertize refining processes, shaping new holds, and is constantly trying to make holds better. He loves climbing and hopes that by making quality products he can help other people find the same enjoyment in the sport that he has had with his friends.
Clayton Leuba: Process and sales manager. Clayton’s climbing career began in 2008 when he was introduced to sport-climbing and bouldering at The Front Climbing Club – Ogden. Since that time his climbing aspirations have evolved to the many outdoor objectives in the beautiful Wasatch Range, but Clayton has maintained a passion for the gym climbing scene and the unique holds that make the sport so great. Today Clayton is responsible for process improvement at Proxy and managing sales for the 12 hold companies they manufacture.
